This series is so much more than a BL, mixing political tension with a real sense of longing and it’s not for someone looking for something sweet and romantic. I really like how Mile and Apo lift this heavy drama; they have a completely different weight and character here compared to KinnPorsche, which I wasn’t a fan of—yet even so, Son Yuke and Euro Yotsawat are on a whole other level. Their connection is honestly incredible and their history is the standout. The music is also great, especially "Am I in Love."
was really excited for this, both because i of course knew mileapo from kinnporsche, but also because of the theme of the show. i did not like kinn, mile's character, in kinnporsche.. but i absolutely came to like his character in shine, tanwa. i knew apo could act, but it was just further proved in this and you can also tell mile's acting has improved so much since kinnporsche! i really fell in love with the side couple, naran & krailert, and how their story was told. overall though, this felt like more than a bl! it was so beautifully devestating and felt very real. I laughed, giggled, cried... one of the best shows of the year.
Started watching because I loved Mile and Apo in KinnPorsche! Don't really like Mile's characters in this show... I am in love with the side couple Naran x Krainart! Also really like the music in this series! The political story around it is also okay.
