Not really a huge fan of romanticizing teenage girls running away from home. Only through the first episode but pretty sure this falls into the Would Enjoy More if I Weren't a Parent bucket.
A coming of age adventure with no small amount of jeopardy and wonder that is beautifully told. To be fair, the Duplass brothers seldom let you down. Their work is caring, curious and almost inevitably uplifting. If you have daughters, I can attest that it is a great story to enjoy together. The amount of screen time Margaret Stott has would wilt many an adult performer but she carries the project with great energy and purpose. Well played.
Watched the first episode, hoping it's not a version of "into the wild", waiting for something really bad to happen. 6/10 so far
I really really enjoyed this little show! Binge watch worthy! Hope there is a 2nd season... 8/10!
