When I give a 10 rating it’s usually because I can’t think of anything that is missing. This story is multifaceted. (I learned things.) The casting is spectacular. The performances are captivating. I loved the multigenerational stories that were told, the friend group and the dynamics in the different families. I loved that the people weren’t perfect and yet somehow fit together. I give this series a 10 (perfect) out of 10.
When the show was announced i was really excited because of the cast and then pre-release videos showed insane chemistry between Hae-in and So-min almost felt like we have another Song-Song couple or Hyunbin-SonYeJin but its a pity the story doesn't live upto to expectations .. it wasn't a stress free plot ; the romance never felt like it had any hurdles but it was missing something that "Our Beloved Summer" for high school friends to lovers has ... the secondary couple wasn't interesting as well despite Mo-eum being a badass Dan-ho felt like a wimpy .. the parents had their character development .. the ex-lovers are very very graceful for a korean show . Overall its a big disappointment ; you could almost watch the good moments in Twitter/TikTok and never watch the entire show to understand the plot and still be satisfied i.e to say the show could be wrapped in 180min movies instead of 16hrs mini series ; but i will still rate this high due to my bias to lead actors.

It took me awhile to get to the last two episodes of this, but I’m glad I did because the last two episodes are actually the best ones. The family element and seeing those conflicts resolve was much more interesting. The main leads, though both great actors and had pretty good chemistry as friends, had abysmal chemistry as lovers. Which is insane because the male lead normally has electric chemistry with pretty much everyone he works with. Unfortunately, their romance just felt very artificial and lacking. The story overall is sweet. I’m glad there was some good emotional payoff for all of the storylines in the end. Probably could have been a 12 episode show.
