Tsukasa Akeuraji, a frustrated skater, meets Inori Yuitsuka, a girl who yearns to be a figure skater. Motivated by Inori's obsession on the rink, Tsukasa begins coaching Inori. Inori's talent blossoms, and Tsukasa becomes a brilliant mentor. Together they aim to make her a glorious medalist!

The dancing sequences were amazing. Absolutely loved it.
This random show managed to blow every other Anime this season out of the water. More than the mainstays that were expected to be good, this one is the most refreshing and emotionally engaging. Medalist also has the best animation of the season, with the most perfect fusing of cel art and CG I've ever seen.
Really inspiring and wholesome with some great animation and characters that grow along the way.
When I watched the first season I was surprised by how amazing this show is. This time had higher expectations and I’m happy to report that those expectations were met. The series continues to be visually stunning with fantastic music and the characters are still a perfect balance of funny yet endearing when serious. This season did feel paced a bit slower but in some ways that helped it feel like it was really building to something. I continue to love this series and am eagerly awaiting the movie they announced for 2027. Highly Recommend
