Jannik and Tai, mobbed by their classmates, are two 17-year-old students who one day find their school principal drunk as a skunk on the street and lock him up in his own apartment. Tai enjoys playing “God” and forces the teacher to perform a soul striptease. A hell trip for Jannik, who doesn’t know if Tai will return his tender infatuation. An affectionate and quirky coming of age story full of surprises.

[Arte] While the plot of the kidnapping becomes secondary, the profile of the two young people and a relationship that is between love and the solidarity of difference take on greater prominence. The plots and character arcs are mixed with daydreams represented in a theatrical manner, and the use of classical music stands out in a similar way to the pop songs introduced in any youth series. But above all, the series builds complex characters with whom you feel an immediate closeness, addresses important themes about the way of feeling like a foreigner in your own country and displays a look at humanity, not as an easy resource but as a real commitment for diversity.
