Did we need a clone of the wonderful French series 'Le bureau'? Not at all. This is really a bad copy. Identical in every way, there is even the American version of La mule.The only apparently decent thing is the skill of Michael Fassbender, bet with Mathieu Kassovitz.

Michael Fassbender continues to be an absolutely legendary actor, versatile in every role like clockwork. also the show is decent.

run-of-the-mill bog standard espionage drama, serviceable but not spectacular for those who are suckers for spy dramas the faces on the posters are all reliably decent (with michael fassbender still being damn fine for a guy pushing 50, especially in the first two episodes where there's eye candy sprinkled here and there) but the standouts for me are the supporting players: john magaro whom i've been a fan of since _First Cow_; bilal hasna with solid comic timing and line deliveries and who I somehow didn't recognize at all from hulu/Disney+'s _Extraordinary_; and especially especially katherine waterston as quite possibly the biggest standout in the cast the show felt like it was torn between wanting to be a high-octane spy thriller and wanting to reflect the current geopolitical machinations of the real world, but the real world moves in inches and centimeters more often than it does feet and yards and the show was a bit of a feathered fish trying to have bits of slowburn combined with the edge-of-your-seat elements while the timeline was mostly presented chronologically, there were flashforward bits that had to take a bit of getting used to

Gave up after episode 3, very dull and uninspiring.
