An ordinary family faces a catastrophe: the serious illness of one of its children. Each member of the family sees their personal life impacted by this ordeal. Disasters make people more human, though not necessarily better.

[Disney+] A splendid cast and a brilliant script by Camille de Castelnau that combines comedy with a dramatic situation. A girl's serious illness affects the members of a family differently, but it serves to paint a portrait of characters for whom life stops in a certain sense, while they face their own tensions and dysfunctional relationships. It's a series that relies on character development to reflect some outlandish behaviors, but make them feel realistic and touching. A family portrait that is built from the perspective of childhood illness, but without falling into melodrama.
