Whomever did the music/score for this series should never be let near a production again. Overall, it was more like a stage play than a television series. It felt like it was a few choreographed lamppost swings away from being a west end musical. A couple of good performances can't save this Disney-esque experience
It is just not very good or compelling. It also doesn’t help that it’s been marketed as Peaky Blinder eske show, but lacks all the edge and polish. It is just a period drama. Also, the music score is awful.
I enjoyed Season 1, but Season 2 is a bit of a slog for me. I feel like they could have done the best bits of the story in like 4 episodes and the season would have been the better for it.
Really enjoyed it. Just watched all 6 back to back
Dark and raw, aesthetically pleasing. Good writing with a fantastic Stephen Graham.
