Munnes is a middle-class working man who is having difficulty finding a bride for himself. His life ends up being a roller coaster ride when he falls in love with the beautiful sarvagun sampanna Mahi. He wants to marry her, but Munnes's buri kismat follows him here as well, as a Pandit prophecy adds a twist to their love story on the day of their wedding. Is he ever going to get married?

It is one of those small-town satire dramas that aims for awkward realism and a lot of fun but lands somewhere between relatable and repetitive. Abhishek Banerjee does most of the heavy lifting, playing Munnes with sincerity and quiet desperation that keeps the show grounded. The matchmaking chaos is amusing at first, and the commentary on marriage pressure feels authentic, but the pacing can be a bit chaotic at times and the humour starts circling the same joke. It’s gentle, mildly funny, and occasionally heartfelt, a fun watch, will exceed your expectations.
