The parallels between current politics and Fisk is fucking disgusting.. Fisk was mayor in the comics way before the orange one, but the forecasting to reality is uncanny ;)
On the one hand, the plot finally thickens, and things are getting interesting. On the other hand, it's the second to last episode of the season and it didn't feel like this is the moment we've been building towards at all.
Am I supposed to like Heather? She seems kind of... antagonistic and naive (or simply just cruel?) - not sure what the show writers are aiming for here. She complains about Matt not paying attention to her, but at the same time seems to only care about her own wants, needs, ideas and opinions. I'm just liking Matt less for being with her. Anyways, the directing of this episode felt a bit odd. Some parts were nice, but the music and color changes felt really out of place. Not sure if they were just experimenting or what was going on.
OH MY GOD. This episode was one of the best. Speechless.
I loved how they made the screen blue for the Bullseye, and red for Daredevil. The last scene can be defined by the quote early on from the Bullseye: “Cause that's what good men do, right? Defend their worst enemies”.
