Regina Haywood is the newly promoted deputy inspector of East New York, a working-class neighborhood at the edge of Brooklyn. She leads a diverse group of officers and detectives, some of whom are reluctant to deploy her creative methods of serving and protecting in the midst of social upheaval and the early seeds of gentrification.

Don't get fooled by the low score given by the usual numbnuts that vote months before the pilot was aired. You will see a lot of known faces and some new ones. First episode was a solid start, if you like this typed of policial dramas don't miss this show.
Shame they didn't give this series a 2nd season. Because it was definitely worth a 2nd season.
This looks like it could have lots of potential, definitely worth a watch.
I really like this show and hope it gets renewed!
