Synopsis

Marvin Flute may be the greatest detective ever to catch a cannibal clown or correctly identify a mid-century modern armoire. But there’s one mystery he still can’t crack — his family. Now that he's back in Grimsburg, a town where everyone has a secret or three, Flute will follow every lead he’s got to redeem himself with the ex-wife he never stopped loving, even if it means hanging out with the son he never bothered to get to know.

At the time of writing this comment, I have watched 3 episodes... and haven't watched one of them to its completion... it is boring... It is not for kids; it is not for adults and it is not for teens... I have no idea who this is targeted to... and the quality of comedy... don't get me started... it is neither flat surface-level comedy, nor some deep thought-provoking one... it seems like it is primarily intended to put you to sleep... you can't pick a rabid bunch of caricatures with no personality whatsoever, throw them together on the screen, and expect us to laugh... classifying this crap under Comedy and Crime... is the only comedy and crime here.

Jon Hamm clearly took this for money because he had mountains of debt, that being said it has a certain anarchy vibe that can be pretty fun

Grimsburg isn’t unlike a lot of adult animation. It needs time to find a rhythm and a personality to match. In this case, the entirety of the first season is spent doing so. But the payoff is a creative show that feels more unique and fully formed by the second season. It has a lot of potential and the fact the episodes keep improving is a hopeful sign. I’ll stick with it for now.
