In 1974, ambitious British politician John Stonehouse hatches an outlandish plan to disappear.

When John - now hiding out in Melbourne - draws suspicion from the local police, Barbara and Sheila fly to Australia to confront him.

With Harold Wilson's fate undetermined, John Stonehouse and Sheila go on trial to face the consequences.
