This was among the best anime(s) of Spring 2022. With great animation, impressive music, good comedy and a simple plot this was truly an entertaining show. Can't say if the historical part was correct or not but the entire concept of "time travel-isekai" was a unique watch for me. I'm definitely hoping for a sequel now :fingers_crossed:.

The concept of the show is good. How it turned out is acceptable but not perfect.

Ya Boy Kongming! is one of those rare anime that is fun, refreshing, and genuinely inspiring from beginning to end. The concept sounds ridiculous at first, but it executes it perfectly with lovable characters, clever strategies, fantastic comedy, and amazing music. Kongming's tactics are always entertaining, while Eiko's journey as an aspiring singer is heartfelt and motivating. The blend of comedy, music, and emotional moments is handled brilliantly, making every episode enjoyable. With its charming cast, catchy songs, and feel-good atmosphere, Ya Boy Kongming! is an unforgettable experience that never loses its charm. Rating: 10/10

If it weren't for the middle third of this show revolving around Kabe and eschewing it's own premise, this would have been fantastic. I don't know that I'd recommend this beyond the first few/last few episodes.
