Not a lot of shows out there that step it up like this in a second season. It was already enjoyable, but the second season is amazing. Same formula, but executed way better. The already amazing cast is expanded, there are more good jokes which, in turn, make the emotional gut punches hit even more. This is becoming one of my favorite shows really fast.

It is very rare a second season to be so perfect and step up for the show. It was an absolute delight and full of emotions. Amazing how the dislikable character of Segel from "How i met your mother" has such a performance and makes a fantastic duo with the legend Ford. Derek is the favourite character, everyone stole with their lines and fantastic dialogues, maybe the best show that Bill Lawrence has delivered. Season 2 is a emotional ride with such a dynamic finale that will have you in tears. Best show this year and deserves a lot of recognition.

Painful to watch this and not in a good way. All characters speak as if they are different avatars of the same character. While the show talks so much of emotions and vulnerability yet its characters lack genuineness and seem insulated by a sheath of jokes. Lacks originality. It is neither a sit-com nor a dramedy, it's something worse.

Season two of Shrinking was just as fun and comforting of a watch as the first season was! It managed to fill gaps left by the previous season, particularly by providing depth and insight into every character's journey and background. Although I'd argue some of this became rather choppy, with certain characters acts gaining momentum for an episode or two before becoming forgotten. Yet I still applaud the season, it truly drew us closer and made us root for every single character. TOP CHARACTER: Liz

This was a good follow up season to season 1. This show has never been super exciting to me, but it’s interesting enough that I keep watching and enjoying it. They continued the story this season in a way that felt good and hopeful. It felt like all of the characters were making progress. I did not like some of the choices they made with the daughter this season. She betrayed her closest friend in a MAJOR way and it felt like it was swept under the rug pretty quickly. I really didn’t like that decision. But, other than that, I found all of the characters to be at least tolerable and the storyline was interesting. I like that they chose to sort of show us both sides of the coin of the tragedy that happened. Harrison Ford also gave a great understated performance this season. I look forward to the next season.
