Vox Machina travels to the mysterious ancient city of Vasselheim to search for allies. They're soon forced to turn to a group of seedy bounty-hunters, called the Slayer's Take. There they encounter an ancient creature who holds critical information that could help them in their fight against the dragons of the Chroma Conclave.

"No one cares about you. I am no different." … "Well, damn."
Just based on two episodes, it feels like a huge improvement on the previous one, slow, steady, and episode centered, but there are certain plotpoints rushed over and information given/gained without too much effort, e.g.
Percy and the gunpowder: steps in the shop and under 10 seconds he learns of Ripley and has to leave without further ado because Vex is already looking for him?

On the other hand Grogs whispering sword and the visions of the Matron of Ravens are much more slower and nuanced. (I have not seen campaign one, but I still know some stuff I normally wouldn't want to spoil to myself, and knowing what I know of later twists and general lore, the Raven Queen gave me chills.)
I didn't think I would be done with 2/3 of it already, I try to save the last one for later.
