You don't get many new documentaries about WWII so you have to fall back on older ones. The positve here is you have small amounts of eye witness acounts which is always a bonus. Nothing hits you more than hearing from people who've actually been there. Opposed to that, this is just another docu that uses mostly stock footage that not always fits which is than used repeatedly in different episodes. Combined with the constant narration it becomes dull. To describe this in short: it's more like a visualised audio book.
