An elderly woman is found suffocated to death in her HDB flat, her room ransacked. It looks like an ordinary robbery/murder until other suspects start to crop up. Inspectors Mike and Alan also meet their new boss, ASP Ganesh.

Oh, the perils of Ecstasy pills. The latest victim is a party girl who dies after an overdose. Was it an accidental death, or was she pushed into it? Mike thinks it's routine investigation until he discovers Sergeant Alan Leong's daughter is somehow implicated.

A college student is found hanged in his hostel. Is it suicide or murder made to look like suicide? Meanwhile, Elaine returns to the force only to find she isn't allowed to work in Vice....

James Lye and Watch out, Elaine Tay (Wong Li-Lin), Inspector Mike Chin (James Lye) will have a new love interest in the form of broadcast journalist Tracey Teo (Jamie Lee) who really is there to ‘spice things up and complicate matters’.

A gruesome discovery in the burnt-out remains of a building calls for the expert skills of Dr Soo. And a reporter (Jamie Lee) singles Mike out to help her on a story.

Elaine vamps it up - all in the name of work. She infiltrates the seedy world of vice to track down the person responsible for disfiguring the face of a call girl. As she plunges deeper into the investigation, she develops a greater understanding - and sympathy - for the 'profession'. Mike, meantime, has to fend off Tracey who has been hounding him to assist her on a TV project. Lucky man!

Elaine sets out to expose a flasher, Halim must infiltrate a pornoring, and a robber who smothers his victims to death by placing a plastic bag over their heads must be brought to justice.

A man with a brain tumour runs amok and holds a TV studio under siege. Claiming to have wired the entire area with bombs, he demands for two hostages. Is he lying or can Inspector Chin call his bluff?

Dr Soo, the expert pathologist, is used to cutting up dead bodies until one day, he discovers the body on the table is his wife's! Errr, grisky! Mike and Alan now have to investigate the murder of their friend's wife - and the possibility that Dr Soo himself might just have done the job.

Just when Elaine and Mike think they can take time out to relax at the police force's Annual Dinner and Dance, a kidnapping crops up and mars their holiday mood.

In an effort to work out their relationship, Mike and Elaine take a short break to Bintan over the New Year holidays. It's supposed to be an easy time. Not so, when Tracey tags along, and when a group of holiday-makers face a murderer lurking at the resort...

A body is discovered in a Nature Reserve. Mike investigates and finds it has been abandoned there for more than a decade. Elaine, meantime, has her hands full with a sexual assault case.

The dead body of a nice young man, Alvin, is found washed on the beach. Mike and team are puzzled by the wound on the head, apparently caused by a strange weapon. Meanwhile, Elaine finds out the guy pursuing her isn't in it for the romance.

A top model is garroted while at a dinner party. The police suspect she might be the victim of a jealous rival. But as Mike continues the investigations, he finds out that the next victim may be Elaine herself.

A top chef is found drowned in a pot of sauce.

A businessman is shot dead. The only clue is some melon seeds found at the scene of the crime.

Death of a lion: a gongfu master and head of a lion-dance school is found stabbed to death.

Elaine and Halim break up an illegal gambling ring.

Mike and Alan bust a drug-smuggling ring whose dealings take place aboard bumboats. Meanwhile, with the help of Elaine, ASP Pang digs into the suicide of a good friend, an ex-officer. Alan and Swee Chin wed - a good reason for the man to finally take leave and go for his honeymoon.

With Alan on leave, Mike has to work closely with Elaine to track down a serial killer on the loose. The case brings them, ahem, closer together and the two finally reconcile after a period of love-hate tension.
