Ashito Aoi is a young, aspiring soccer player from a backwater town in Japan. His hopes of getting into a high school with a good soccer club are dashed when he causes an incident during a critical match for his team, which results in their loss and elimination from the tournament. Nevertheless, he catches the eye of someone important who happened to be visiting from Tokyo. How will things turn out for Ashito?

10/10 one of the best animes to come out in 2022 Top 3 soccer mangas along with be blues & blue lock (highly recommend the read) can't wait for the upcoming anime adaptations 😳
What I like about aoashi compared to the more popular blue lock is the realistic portrayal of football. Despite the realism of it, I found it very exciting and waiting for a new episode every week was absolutely excruciating. Whenever I watched a new episode it was like time went 10x as fast, the end credits would roll and I'd be in shock because it felt like no time had passed. I've since picked up the manga, and let's just say things get even better. I really hope this gets a second season April 2025 update: New season just got announced! Good things come to those who wait :)
What a anime so cringe its the defination of cringe i watched it full because of positive review but i think they were all paid blue lock and aoashi aren't even rivals the main character is so useless it reminds me of sakura he does nothing but everyone just keep getting fan over him why?
