More entertaining than Hollywood's ever gonna be
The story follows a team of pirate mercenaries known as the Lagoon Company, that smuggles goods in and around the seas of Southeast Asia in the early to mid 1990s. Their base of operations is located in the fictional harbor city of Roanapur in southeast Thailand near the border of Cambodia.

I liked it, but I really wished it had a better ending. And the "Robertas Blood Trail" extra arc does not help. Also, the show feels pretty random at times. There is no real cohesion to stuff. Also Revy and Rock really should get a room. Good, but could have been so much better, sadly.
This animé was definitely worth it to watch, french dub voices are really nice (usually I watch anims in vostfr but this dub was a good one). I really liked the story and the characters (Revy and Balalaika <3) , I hope there will be an end or at least a few more more episodes to have a decent ending for it, it's a shame if they don't!
Well great characters, great setting/s suffers a little bit from the stories or better that they have no real story arch over the whole length.
Action anime with surprising moral complexity beneath the mercenary violence. Revy's nihilism is more interesting than the plot mechanics.
