**Review: Ark TV Series Falls Short of its Potential** Ark Survival Evolved: The Game is a sandbox adventure where the only limit is your imagination. Unfortunately, the TV adaptation doesn’t quite live up to this promise. With a myriad of potential directions, it instead opts to focus heavily on race swapping characters, social justice themes, portraying Helena as an eco-activist and emphasizing her sexuality. If you’re looking for a show that preaches social messages, paints almost every male character as either a villain, a jerk, or just plain dumb, while only highlighting the female characters, then this series might be for you. In contrast, Ark Survival Evolved: The Game offers a rich narrative about two main characters whose friendship is corrupted by power, jeopardizing their survival. This depth and complexity are sadly missing from the series. After the first episode, the show quickly becomes dull and uninspiring. What a disappointment for fans expecting a more engaging and faithful adaptation.

The series starts out pretty interesting but seems to get boring pretty quick, despite how many famous people they got in the cast. I binged the first 6 episodes because I had the time but I was pretty bored with most of it. Not sure if I will watch any more.

Waste of a license with potential for a basic standard comic series. Not just that it is your typical cheap comic series - it also ignores the great story and mood behind the ark games series.
