I liked the first 10 episodes of the show ; later it got boring with repetitive coup plots and non-sensible actions by all characters ... usually each of them would get a beheading in palace politics. Ban Hua straightforward narcissistic character with underlying care for her family and love was good but Rong Xia wasn't matched well for her at times and the chemistry is lacking at parts and many times they don't communicate well to solve the problems making a racoon hole out of squirrel hole.... Overall the show has good beginning and decent finish [spoiler] why they have to ruin the wedding with out-of-character plot by Crown Princess/Empress/Dowager/CousinPrincess [/spoiler].
