This is about family and trust. And why many Koreans are still mad at Japanese (basically because they didn't apologize for what happened in the series). We follow a family through several generations and see how important family cohesion is. Especially in 4K, this series looks so damn good. The set and locations are just beautiful. Min-Ha Kim plays so damn well and manages to develop a personality over the series that you can relate to and sympathize with. I've rarely seen facial expressions and emotions so damn good. Yuh-jung Youn is just as simply wonderful and you fall in love with her immediately. But let's note, the whole cast is very very well chosen. The more you watch the more you get into the family. I am excited for the second season!

Essa é uma série de drama que te pega e te prende de uma tal forma que você não consegue mais parar de assistir, mas ao mesmo tempo a história é tão intensa que você precisa parar para refletir. A história é muito bem feita, o atores são simplesmente cativantes e é provável que você vai querer chorar a cada episódio. Cada episódio tem um gancho incrível que é impossível você não querer maratonar tudo de uma só vez. Recomendadíssima!

Jesus Christ this show makes me cry so much. It's a really good adaptation of the book. There are some changes but I think they are to serve the different medium. The only criticism I have is that in the second season, I was way more interested in the past that in whatever is going on with Solomon and his business dealings. But otherwise, perfect show, amazing acting. I hope they get to finish the story as they intended.

Please everyone watch this so the creators can finish how they envisioned it to finish. It's such a good adaptation and a good on its own.
