Having now watched the first 3 episodes of season 3 I can agree that it’s miles better than season 2 and up there with season 1. Looking forward to the rest of this season.
My gosh this show is so dumb.
Better than S2, worse than S1. After Season 1 they only seemed to care about that "Reacher feel". He's big, no nonsense, a teddy bear when he's not punching or killing bad dudes, he banters with Neagley. That's it. Don't get me wrong: overall it's solid and well made technically. But storyline was absolutely forgettable, this season's cast and villains were slightly better than S2 but still unremarkable in every possible way when not a walking stereotype ("look I'm so evil", "look I'm so tough", "look I'm so huge", "look I'm the comedic relief"). Rewatch S1. Nothing groundbreaking but the script was solid and the other characters well rounded for such show. After that they're doing the same thing movie sequels mostly do: reprise the same recipe devoid of the soul. Still enjoyable for a mindless hour... alright. Not good, not even close to great
Boring season i hope they stop after this
