Two episodes in, it reminds me of Curb your enthusiasm but through a rich black lens. It's a unique blend of comedy that will definitely have it's niche audience. It has real themes that apply to some black americans. 👏Basically I thought it was good enough to get a second season.
Basically a foul-mouthed version of Black-Ish. It's alright, I guess. Just something to watch when there's nothing left on Netflix.
This is basically a copy of Black-ish. Would have been an ok series if it didn't throw in all historical/political/social topics. One minute it's funny and the next it's serious....it just doesn't work. You're better of watching Black-ish, they do it much better.
Surprisingly I got into this one... definitely chuckled more than I thought I would.
It is too much like Black-ish, but it's got a few good moments here and there. It spends too much time pulling down the people in the show. It started to feel like watching a non-stop "yo momma" joke with the most shallow charactures of real people. If they were going for how bad "black" shows could be, they hit the target.
