The series does a great job dramatizing situational aspects of the sex industry both on set & at home to make you wonder if this might be based on true stories. I def give the producers kudos for letting the material be on edge & allow the viewer to explore some of the deeper emotions of working in this industry - some will be shocking & some will be downright taboo. [spoiler]That said, I'm not quite convinced it was pulled all together by the end in the last episode - the complexity of Jolene & Carole's relationship seemed rushed at the end esp after a whole court case. I did appreciate the passion developed by the end despite it feeling a bit manufactured.[/spoiler] Worth a watch - but fair warning it gets quite serious at times - im glad a sprinkle of British humor here & there helped lighten things up!

Hayley deserved all the awards for this role (at least the ones that didn't go to Jessie Buckley for Fargo s4) and I am not ready for ~~Chris Miles~~ to be playing dad roles
