Not a smart, but an entertaining main character. Not really conclusive at the end and no fulfilling message.

Like flipping through a handwritten Japanese phone book: it goes at a good pace but I don't care about the characters and it never sends to stop. A worthless detective comes up against a contemptible villain and nothing they do makes any sense, so the director decides to drag it out for as long as possible.
