William Brown, a neurotic, self-absorbed musician determined to finish his prog-rock magnum opus, faces a creative roadblock in the form of a noisy and grotesque neighbor named Vlad. Finally working up the nerve to demand that Vlad keep it down, William inadvertently decapitates him. But, while attempting to cover up one murder, William’s accidental reign of terror causes victims to pile up and become undead corpses who torment and create more bloody detours on his road to prog-rock Valhalla.

This could have been a Creepshow episode. Bizarre, cartoony, over the top. All while never looking like it's trying too hard to be serious. There's nothing "serious" here (other than Will's serious love for the Prog), and it's all the better for it. Good silly fun.
Effects were pretty good. It's more of a just put it on and see where it goes kind of movie.
A little too off the rails and chaotic, but still pretty fun.
A messy, gooey blast of absurd horror comedy, Destroy All Neighbors leans hard into practical effects, gross-out gags, and psychedelic weirdness. The plot’s thin, but the ride is wild with musical mayhem, monster infested apartments, and one hell of a guitar face-off finale against a full blown Cthulhu like beast. Think Evil Dead II meets Tenacious D by way of Brain Damage. The synth score and splatterpunk aesthetic add charm, even if the humor doesn’t always hit. Cool effects Weird musical showdown Total chaos by the end Worth a late night watch especially if you’re into slime, shrieks, and shredding.
As irritating as the neighbour who lives next to me
