I don’t get the bad reviews. Fast and Furious films get better reviews. Yet, they are a lot like this movie. Gone in 60 Seconds even had the “family” bbq ending. That every Fast & Furious film has had since. The cast is excellent too and quite fun together.

This is such a silly film but I love it so much, the premise of the film is super entertaining and though not the most realistic it is really fun to watch. It's the perfect film for mindless action lovers as it has awesome cars, badass moments and Nicolas Cage (Memphis) being Nicolas Cage. Yeah the laws of physics don't mean anything in this film and the acting can be really cheesy at times, but I love it and I guarantee you will find something fun in this film. Also, it's not a very long film and kinda a perfect film to watch with a bunch of friends and especially if you have a few car lovers amongst them.

Although Gone in 60 Seconds is one of Cage's better films in my opinion I felt this film was very slow at starting up. In fact the whole first half of the film fells boring most times. It's not until when the mid marker starts when it starts to pull my intention back into the film as they start stealing the cars. Also some of the acting from some of the cast seemed like a joke at times.

Just a lot of flash with little substance. Michael Bay by the numbers. 5/10

A fun car movie. Fast and the Furious is basically this movie meets Point Break. Since it even has all the “we’re family”, stuff.
