Not as bad as I expected but not a good movie either. Skippable.

I remember watching this just a few years ago and decided to check it out again for shark week. This isn’t the best shark movie but I’ve also seen much worse. I always appreciate when they attempt to do something serious and real. This would’ve been a lot better if it had better characters. The lead played by Holly Earl was the only decent character. I also thought she gave a decent performance. The CGI looks a bit spotty at times. It had some decent gore. The pacing was a bit of a problem but that’s no surprise in movies like these. Imagine because of a malfunction, a shark appears The movie’s story revolves around a group of friends enjoying their spring break vacation. They decide to take a jet ski and experience the thrill of racing on the sea. Moments after being swept up in excitement, the friends suffer a terrible collision accident that causes one of the jet skis to malfunction and trigger alarms. They realize time is running out to reach the shore before nightfall. Amid panic and shock, the friends try to deal with the aftermath of the crash and fix the damaged jet ski, but their attempts fail due to structural damage. As night falls, the real threat emerges—predatory sharks prowling the waters in search of their prey, something the friends never expected. An ordinary action and thriller film.
