A flawed but adequately entertaining PG horror fantasy to get you in the Halloween spirit. This Indonesian urban legend has been done to death so I really appreciate that this film offers a fresh spin on it, which mainstream supernatural Indonesian contenders don't dare to venture into. The story can be a bit muddled in the details, but the basic idea is straightforward and engaging enough that you can follow along easily. Despite having some occasional scenes that come off more as unusual, unintentionally silly, as far as family-friendly horror goes, it's still a solid, highly watchable piece of family entertainment.
