[Sheffield/Doc '22] The director offers a close portrait of the murdered young journalist Lyra McKee, but at the same time a complex vision of Northern Ireland, whose emotional and psychological scars after The Troubles are not yet closed. High suicide rates, unsolved disappearances, uninvestigated murders... show a dark reality. But the film also manages to convey the protagonist's boundless optimism.
