Synopsis
Emerenc, an elderly and private woman, is hired to be the housekeeper of a struggling writer, Magda. An event in the writer's life prompts Emerenc to disclose details of her traumatizing past, which will bond the two women forever. Based on the novel by Magda Szabó.

This film had the potential of being quite good; however, it just fell flat in too many places. Might have helped to have a bit more musical scoring to help carry and create more emotional content. Something subtle. Basically, it's a good story, but lost too much connection with the viewer.
