[BFI LFF'22] A story whose strength of content and relevance of its speech compensate for some mistakes in the rhythm and in a certain conventional tone of melodrama that stands out in the second part. The practice of "matrimonio riparatore" that preserves the woman's honor by marrying her rapist remained in Italy until 1981, although fifteen years earlier a young woman had won a lawsuit against her attacker. There are some brilliant moments of portrayal of masculinity despite the incredulity of a mature actress playing a teenage girl.
