Selkeu Uashev is a local police officer at Karatas village. He’s not a man of high morals and can hardly be called a role model as a policeman. [PÖFF'21] There is an absurd tone that places it in the line of "Yellow cat" (2020) and, as we can say, of the amoral characters of the Coen brothers, which uses the confinement caused by the coronavirus to maintain the references to corruption and bribes from the village of Karatan. It seems more of a diversion, a simple and humble story that achieves fewer achievements than other Adilkhan Yerzhanov films.
