I think is one of my favorites disaster movies, it has a feeling more good than the others with good visuals and a nice story. Sure it has cliches but they are not troubled nor ruin this movie. Totally underrated i may add.
As Armageddon but people-centered, such computers late 90's, that actors looks so young
A really great movie, great cast and acting, looks amazing in 4K Ultra...worth seeing for sure....
Extremely tearjerking movie. In the end it all comes down to caring about the characters. And I didn't. But kudos to software in 90s. According to Dull.. erm... Deep Impact you could easily calculate an exact trajectory of comet from the lousy photo in like 500ms.
As I have said before, I love disaster movies. Most often they are cheesy and predictable, but that's one of the reasons I love em. You know what you're gonna get. Deep Impact is predictable alright, but this is one of the more intelligent disaster movies of its time. Overall a good effort by most of the actors. Téa Leoni doesn't work all that well in this one, but all the others way up for that. Especially Robert Duvall and Vanessa Redgrave. Deep Impact is way better than it's over produced and incredibly cheesy contemporary Armageddon, and even though it's not exactly a classic, it's very good and I believe most people would be entertained.
