For a family, space is not a distance.
Near future. Lera Arabova is a 15-year-old girl who lives with her family in Vladivostok. Lera's father has been working at the orbiting space station "Mira" for many years and has long lost contact with his daughter, turning only into a voice on the phone. After a meteor shower hits the city, Lera has only one chance to save her loved ones and the city from a new disaster. Her father helps her in this - through satellite surveillance systems and the telephone, he uses every opportunity to send a message to his daughter, watching from above from the station her every step.

This was recommended by a classmate and I'm glad I watched it.
Mira, special three days operation, analysis.
I'm always against the movies where the real dad gets the short end of the stick! She didn't call him dad till the show was about over and now his death brings her closer to stepdad dad who will get all the praise and love now. Her dad died so they can be one happy family? Nope for me a 2 star and I'm being generous.
don't try to put pseudo science in a film when you have no clue. flying butterflies in zero gravity ? just think...
i loved this movie. appreciate something with high production values and no social pandering like we have in the west and this is the type of unadulterated film you will get, which i deeply appreciate.
