One of those “old” Indian movies where it feels like you’ve 2 movies in one. It’s long and takes a completely different direction in the 2nd half. Kajol is brilliant. Writing is a little weak, especially where the kid keeps talking in 3rd person, just for a way to make Aamir Khan’s character feel guilty. Oh yeah, another reason why I’m calling it “old”. Khan’s character is creepy as hell in the beginning. In less than 24 hours he wants to take Kajol around Delhi. And she likes it cause he’s the lead character.
