This film is dedicated to millions who love Bruce Lee
Everyone's favorite martial artist ""Bruce"" winds up fighting for his life and soul in hell against an evil Warlord intent on making him mincemeat - and he has recruited some of the 1970s most iconic B-movie characters to help dispatch the great one. But when that won't do the trick, he uses monsters, mummies and beautiful women to get the little dragon at any cost.

The sheer ridiculousness of the scenario and the characters is enough for having a good time. Could even have been a good movie for real with a bit more acting and / or better fights. The idea is so stupid, but also so great, it's a shame it's not exploited better. Not sure Bruce Lee would have appreciated the way he is represented since he mostly behaves like an arrogant and violent low class thug. Kinda implies he was cheating a lot on his wife too. In the underworld, Bruce takes on a gang of villains composed of famous movies (though mostly based on novels first) characters. But I guess the weirdest of the list is Popeye as an ally. How these fiction characters end up in the underworld mixed with real people ? Who knows. There are less villains than announced. We see: The Godfather The Exorcist Zatoichi Emmanuelle James Bond The man with no name (from westerns) Dracula but the Wikipedia page mentions nine other "unseen opponents" including the Wicked Witch of the West, Alex from Clockwork Orange, Gatsby, Carrie, etc. Not sure what this info is based on, but would have been great to see. The only real good fight is versus the godfather and exorcist, most of the rest is low quality. Good points for the announcing of techniques and all of Bruce's being movie titles though. It's not clear why Bruce loses the first fight, probably a part of the scenario that was dropped ? I guess the plan with Emmanuelle was to tire him like the king ? Could have worked if all the others weren't there to watch like creeps. The gun fighters are sadly quickly out without much effort.
The absolute peak of Bruce-sploitation weirdness.
