In _Female_, an intelligent, business-minded woman runs the country's largest car company. She invites cute men back to her mansion for late night meetings where she plies them with vodka and seduces them. Then, when they fall in love with her, she gives them a bonus and breaks their hearts. BTW, this movie was made in 1933... I'm all on board for this kind of 'feminist' pre-code movie, and not even the inevitable traditional ending could spoil the glee I felt while watching this. _Female_, directed by Michael Curtiz (_Angels with Dirty Faces_, _Casablanca_) is also proof that good directors consistently make good movies.
