25 years. One unsolved mystery. And countless unanswered questions.
In the 1990s, during a wild thunderstorm night, 12-year-old Anay dies in a road accident shortly after he sees his next-door neighbor committing a crime. Twenty-five years later, in a strange turn of events, on an identical stormy night, Antara finds herself in front of a TV set through which she attempts to save Anay’s life but her good deed causes a disturbing chain of unexpected consequences.

Same idea, you already know the structure if you’ve seen Mirage, so it becomes more about execution. It still works. The core concept is strong enough, and the film handles it decently. You follow the changes, the consequences, and it stays engaging. But it doesn’t hit the same way. Some parts feel stretched, and the emotional connect isn’t as strong. But the overall feel of the movie kinda remains the same and is successful in keeping you hooked. You’re watching it more for the experience than the idea and plot this time.
Certainly a mess of a remake. 4/10
