Treevenge details the experiences and horrifying reality of the lives of Christmas trees. Clearly, for trees, Christmas isn’t the exciting “peace on earth” that is experienced by most. After being hacked down, and shipped away from their homes, they quickly become strung up, screwed into an upright position for all to see, exposed in a humiliation of garish decorations. But this Christmas will be different, this Christmas the trees have had enough, this Christmas the trees will fight back. Treevenge could be a short film about the end of days for Christmas trees, or perhaps, the end of humanity?

Fun ultra-violent short that is flawlessly executed and doesn't outstay its welcome. It's so dumb but in the most fantastic way possible and another reason to go with the artificial tree during the Christmas season. Happy holidays!
fun little seasonal horror romp. didn't realize this was going to be as gnarly and funny as it was or i would've gotten around to it much sooner. might try to squeeze in a second viewing before the season is over, for sure. why the hell did i recognize like three seconds of ambient background sounds as ones also in Zombie's first Halloween (idk if they originated there or if these just pulled from the same source elsewhere) lmao.
After being tortured, humiliated and hacked down Christmas trees are rebelling against humanity, they've had enough! An ultra violent gory campy fun time! An instant Christmas classic and probably the best short i've seen. I was surprised at how violent it got and they didn't shy away from killing children. It has a retro style and feel and the effects also look retro. The humans are ridiculously evil in here which gives it a slice of dark humor. Good thing i'm using a plastic tree.
