Absolute abomination of a movie based around a genuinely interesting topic.

Another "keep your expectations low" movie. Not the best of it's kind with ordinary casting and acting but if you have nothing to do, it is enough to pass some time.

This is a ridiculous movie. The thing of it is, that the plot had the potential to be a great movie... And they screwed it up spectacularly! The ham fisted attempts at well timed, slick humour in tense situations in the manner of iconic films like Oceans Eleven are just too much to bear. As the movie rambles on, it's damn near impossible to make sense of these unfathomable plot lines and annoying characters. As for the main character Connor? He is most definitely no Elliott Alderson.

The trailer was significantly better than the movie

Don’t expect to learn much about Cicada in this movie. While based on a true internet mystery, this is a slapdash thriller that is way too jokey. Admittedly ,its lightness of touch was entertaining at first but the broad humour quickly grated on my nerves. Delete.
