Synopsis
The film consists of three novels. The film begins with the fact that the Bernard Blier hero removes a lantern from the entrance to a brothel. The second part is about how the lantern and jewelery were stolen from a young baroness. And in the third part the hero of Louis de Funes hangs a lantern at the entrance to his house.

Be advised that this is not a de Funes movie per se but one with him in it. The movie itself consists of three acts that are connected in which Louis plays the lead part in the third act. This is also the best part of the whole movie. Not that the rest is awful but the story in that last act and de Funes performance stands out from the rest of the movie.
