Synopsis
Inspired by the classic tale of Peter Pan, The Lost Girls chronicles four generations of Darling women as they struggle in the aftermath of their adventures with Peter Pan in Neverland. Like her grandmother and her mother Jane before her, Wendy must escape Pan’s hold on her and the promise he desperately wants her to keep. As her daughter Berry comes into Peter’s orbit, Wendy must fight to save her relationship with her daughter while reconciling her legacy.

My girlfriend and I got maybe 20 minutes into this, and it was so cringy and uncomfortable that we quit. Pan is creepy, of course the character is creepy if you think about it. Wendy was creepy and acting like a overly horny teenager, but only in a creepy old mans fantasy way. Hook was cringy in the first scene with Wendy, and that's as far as we got, it's like he's the creepy old man hoping to take advantage of the girls Pan lures in. Heck, maybe that's The whole point, Pan lures in young girls for Hook to abuse.

Despite the Peter Pan subplot, this isn't suitable for family viewing. It's central theme about women not being beholden to men is honourable but thanks to a weak script and a wooden performance from the lead, this is a chore to sit through.
