Something awaits them 8,000 feet under the sea…
In Sector 7, an underwater oil field located south of Jeju Island, Hae-jun is working as a marine equipment manager on an oil prospecting ship called Eclipse. Joining the crew later is Jeong-man, a former colleague of Hae-jun's father, assigned to Eclipse as captain. Though his job is to oversee the withdrawal of the ship, he suggests conducting some drilling one last time.

Lots of people yelling, screaming and running around. I couldn't even count how many times someone gets slammed, bashed, and rammed into something concrete or metal. Then they scream in pain and limp around for two minutes when they would more likely be crippled or dead. It's so ridiculous not to mention repetitious. The monster looked like a failed attempt at creating something scarier than river monster in "The Host". The CGI was so ugly. I think about 90% of everything was CGI, actually. And I'll leave the motorcycle moments alone. 🙄
this movie had the opportunity to be good. the last 20 minutes they could have did without just too many stupid unnecessary dialogue toward the end. just kept dranging out that I couldn't even force myself to watch the last 10 minutes just turned it off that's how bad and aggravating it got.
Substandard monster movie with an undersea bent. The story is pedestrian at best and the flick has zero surprises. The creature is a cartoon and thus not that menacing. The climax takes years to finish, but it isn't dull, either. So it is merely meh.
