The beach of terror
In Miami, Florida, biker gang leader Edward "Diablo" Santer is about to be executed for murder when he proclaims his innocence and vows revenge from the grave. Nightmare Beach is not Lenzis best. The story is not very good, and leaves way too many unanswered questions after one of the worst endings ever. The kills are also not all that good either, as the electrocution thing gets old quick. What makes Nightmare Beach as re-watchable as it is, is all the 80s cheese they managed to cram into it. The hair, the spandex, the cars, the music... Everything you can possibly want from the 80s is here... in one film. But then again... Florida was the pinnacle of 80s cheese, so I guess it's to be expected. Well worth a watch if you like beach bodies in spandex, goofy looking biker gangs, and convertibles that sound like sowing machines.
