Great concept. Wish It could have been executed a little better.
Serviceable psychological thriller with a familiar setting; echoing Dead Calm or Straw Dogs. It seems to telegraph a lot of the twists in the story and it struggled to hold my attention in places. I don't particularly care for Jamie Bell as an actor but he's the film's anchor here, injecting unease into the confined setting and making the power struggles feel more engaging. Murphy and particularly Newton are more mediocre but I think this is likely down to clunky dialogue and repetitive character arcs. Worth a watch for the cast, especially Bell, but the ending was predictable and some will find it too slow and repetitive.
