Horror with training wheels that even the younger crowd will find slow.

aka "The Strange House", "The Scary House", "Das schaurige Haus" This movie pretends to be a horror movie, but turns out to be more of a murder mystery. Mixing the genre's like it was done in this movie was quite interesting. Overall a solid movie. How I rate: 1-3 ❤ = seriously! don't waste your time 4-6 ❤ = you may or may not enjoy this 7-8 ❤ = I expect you will like this too 9-10 ❤ = movies and TV shows I really love!

Streamed via Netflix Had a little trouble finding this film on trakt, it's called _The Strange House_ on Netflix. It's not bad. It's not scary at all, just a fun family-friendly murder mystery/haunted house horror, like a live action Scooby Doo film but from Austria. How they throw too many cliches in this film irks me a little bit but the storyline and production is quite good with some funny moments. The acting is average, as expected for a family film like this but some characters are likable. I think the location and music help a lot otherwise it's just another boring haunted house film.

This was a great little haunted house movie. Definitely worth the watch.

I liked this movie. Yes, it doesn't have the deepest story line but it was a nice enough watch for a Saturday evening after a shitty day, with some funny moments, not too scary and likeable characters. I also liked the music a lot.
