this movie is made by Pessoa's enthusiasts for Pessoa's enthusiasts and so, it fails to account for anyone who goes to watch this movie without any prior knowledge of the poet's work or lore. As someone who falls under the second category i will say this movie failed to captivate me, because it is, in my opinion, a disjointed amalgam of easter egg after easter egg without any discernable plot or intention behind it. On the other hand, the person who went with me to watch it is very much a "Pessoa Stan" and loved it, so if you are really keen on watching this movie, do yourself a favor and do a Master's degree on his work beforehand.
